Breakfast
Start the day off in style by eating a chocolate oat bran muffin and a yogurt. You don’t need to go to the store to buy the muffins. You can make them right at home. All you will need is:
- 6 tablespoons of oat bran
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powered (make sure it’s low carb)
- 2 eggs
- 6 tablespoons of fat free yogurt
- 1 teaspoon of baking power
- Sweetener
Take all of the dry ingredients and mix them in a bowl. Then, include the yogurt and eggs and whisk them until the mixture is smooth. Add your sweetener, and then put the mixture into six paper muffin cases. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and bake for 15 minutes. At the end of 15 minutes, make sure the muffins are done. If not, put them on for another one to three minutes.
Lunch
Lunch will be even easier to prepare than breakfast was. For lunch, you can have a simple:
- Oven baked salmon fillet
- Fat free cottage cheese
This meal will give you all of the energy you will need until dinner.
Dinner
For dinner, you can have skinless roast chicken. You can find this prepared at a grocery store, or you can make your own. If you choose to make your own, be sure to add some seasonings that are low in fat and carbs.
Daily Snack
When your stomach starts growling in between meals, consider eating some meringues. Meringues fit into the plan, and they are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Considerations
You should keep a two things in mind when following a Dukan Diet menu. First, you can eat as much lean protein as you want during the Attack Phase, so eat up. There is no reason to go hungry on the Dukan Diet.
Second, make sure you only use seasonings that are low in fats and carbs. Even a couple of extra grams of fat or carbs can derail the Attack Phase of the diet, so you need to be very careful when you spice your food up.
